I've decided to add a new section and as you can see, I've titled it "YES YOU CAN."
One hears from so many people today that they cannot do this or that... They cannot write is mentioned so
often that one wonders, "Have they actually ever tired?"
Recently, I decided to join a writer's group in my area. It is new and only has about a half dozen members
at this point. One or two have had some work published, the rest are newbies.
Since I have had a number of books published, and currently am not in the midst of working on a new manuscript,
my role is to be that of a guru.
I must say I was flabbergasted at the input being submitted by these writers. Some are so shy about what
they've written that getting them to submit anything at all is like pulling teeth. But when they do!!
These writers may be beginners but their work is really good. Outside of the usual things, like grammar,
spelling, etc., that even professional writers encounter, their work is a pleasure to read. Most are into either science fiction
or mysteries. They write well enough to draw you into the story and leave you wanting more!
All these writers need is a little basic advice, a little encouragement to gain them some confidence and
they'll be published authors in no time.

Yes You Can!
